Ashley Lindley and Rick Egan got married. It was such a beautiful wedding at Paraiso Varamilla. Let's just say that this was a night to remember....Get snockered at wedding, Do shots at Wild West in wedding attire and THEN eat Mexican (well, kind of) at Taco Cabana. 4th of July

4th of July was spent in Austwell at Da Camp! :) On that Saturday, we took Wesley down to the Rockport Beach. He had a great time, but it was soooo hot. That evening, we went to the Austwell 4th of July bash....very interesting! :) Beach Time

The Place

We headed down to Mark and Rachael Terry's Ranch for the weekend. It is called, "The Place". About 160 acres in Paige, TX. We took Maddie and Wesley with us. Alli and Thomas went as well! Uncle Kyle with his two buddies.

Our one year anniversary! Seems like yesterday the wedding was in the planning stages. One year has flown by. We can honestly say that we are stronger as a couple at this mark in our marriage. How did we spend it? Punta Cana and a luau. The past few weeks we have been surrounded by our dear family and friends. What more could you ask for? On the actual day, we slept in, cleaned up after the luau, dropped off decorations, dropped off Kyle's little buddy Beau...and then GRUBBED at Cheddar's. A relaxing day for us ending the evening watching re-runs of our favorite shows! Looking forward to a lifetime of anniversaries with my baby!

P.S. Those flowers were from Trang. :) We also got so many beautiful cards from loved ones too!

Luau to Celebrate Everything!

So..with being gone to paradise...Punta Cana, DR...we decided to throw a family luau when we returned. We celebrated EVERYTHING in May! Mother's Day, Mom's Bday, Shelley's Belated Bday, Grandpa's Bday, Michelle's Bday, Debbie's Bday, Jeff's Bday, Thomas' Bday and our 1 year anniversary. We have so much going on in May we thought it would be fun to do a huge "hoorah"! We had a full house with around 40 people here. Another new addition to the casa is our blow up pool that got some use before the heavens let loose and it poured! There was even a Best Dressed Contest. Mom D won! She came as a Tiki Drink..aka Rum Punch! Dad carved the watermelon.
