NYE...Ringing in 2009!

We kicked off New Years Eve with Friends and Family at Chris and Michelle's house. We grubbed on Alaskan King Crab Legs, Shrimp, Creamed Corn, Mac n Cheese, tons of appetizers and desserts! We had a great time laying low!!!!My infamous brie spelling out 2009!

Christmas Day 2008 at our home

Christmas Day was hosted for the first time by ME! Well, Kyle and I! We got to entertain in our home and use all of our finest wedding gifts and my scrumptious recipes! We got so full on appetizers...that we all had to take a break before the main course. What do you think we did to kill some time....we watched the highlights of our wedding video! Everyone was in tears and then worked up their appetite again. We feasted on ham and several sides. We drank waisal, wine and beer. Before we ate, we all stood in a circle and had to say what we were thankful for in 2008. A sensitive moment for this crew! This is a tradition I want to start with my family! We had a grand time...but let me tell you, the hostess is pooped! The hostess with the mostess!
